Tracee de Hahn will sign and discuss A Well-Timed Murder (Minotaur; $25.99), the second Agnes Lüthi Mystery.
Tracee de Hahn is the author of the Agnes Lüthi Mysteries published by St. Martin’s Press/Minotaur Books. The first in the series, Swiss Vendetta, was inspired by the 2005 ice storm that ravaged Geneva. Tracee was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and spent most of her youth in Kentucky. After receiving degrees in Architecture and European history from the University of Kentucky she moved to Switzerland with her husband. Currently they and their two Jack Russell terriers live in Virginia.
"A true page turner...I found the plot fascinating, and de Hahn builds the tension and suspense perfectly to a satisfying conclusion. I was left wanting to read more about Agnes, and I am looking forward to her next adventure!"—Charles Todd on Swiss Vendetta
Set in Lausanne, Switzerland, this debut is perfect for fans of Christie's closed setting novels. Newly transferred to Violent Crimes from Financial Crimes, Inspector Agnes Luthi doesn't feel prepared for her first homicide investigation, much less being held captive by Lausanne's worst snowstorm in history. Set on the celebrated Chateau Vallotton grounds, a young woman dressed
in a jewel encrusted gown is found stabbed to death. Since Luthi's superior officer is unable to reach the destination, the investigation falls to Luthi. With a closed cast of characters and setting, de Hahn has written an intriguing, atmospheric novel. I'm anxious to read a sequel...hope there's one coming! - Brenda
