Christina Coward at Murder By The Book since 2019.
Christina was an elementary teacher in a former life and has always loved being immersed in good book. Chairing books fairs at her children’s schools and taking the lead on visiting authors has taken the place of “working” in her current life. As a longtime customer of MBTB she is so excited to be on the other side of the bookselling industry! When spending time with her family, Christina loves to travel and dance to 70’s music!!!!!
Favorite authors are Carolyn Haines, Daniel Silva, Chris Pavone, Rhys Bowen, Susan Elia MacNeal, Mark Kay Andrews, Michael Connelly, Catherine Center and Katie Fforde!

This super spy thriller is set in both the US and Russia, centers around Evan, super spy/ wonder woman who is ruthless and will stop at nothing to get the job done-and she never fails. From the beginning car bomb to the ending, I was on the edge of my seat this entire book, questioning each character’s motives and allegiances with twist and turns ending in utter shock! - Christina

This follow up to City of Windows is another fast paced brilliant thriller with Lucas Page at the forefront. He has been lured in once again to help the FBI with bombs of mass destruction in NYC. His unique mathematical gift to see things in angles and recreate scenes that takes most weeks, is put to the test again to outsmart the murderer before he becomes the victim. - Christina

"City of Windows is moving, breathtaking—a great entertainment." —The Wall Street Journal
“A tough, wise, knowing narrative voice, a great plot, a great setting, and even better characters — I loved this.” —Lee Child, New York Times bestselling author

Rees, using recipes as a way to communicate information from deep Nazi Germany to English allies, showed us once again women were huge assets in WW2, but also considered disposable when plans went wrong. This depiction of life from the inside trying to determine who could be trusted was brilliant and my favorite read of the summer. - Christina

Once again Silva delivers a masterpiece that has readers turning the pages as quickly as possible. Set in Rome surrounding the “death” of the pope, we are led down a rabbit hole of utter suspense and deception that questions the foundation of religion as we know today. Gabriel Allon does not disappoint! - Christina

This book is absolutely riveting and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! This is definitely on my top 10 list for 2020!!!!
