Sascha Rothchild is an Emmy-nominated screenwriter, who has written and produced lauded shows such as GLOW, The Bold Type, The Baby-Sitters Club, and The Carrie Diaries. In 2015, she was named one of Variety's "10 TV Writers to Watch." Rothchild has written for LA Weekly, the Los Angeles Times, Elle, and the Miami Herald, and adapted her article, How to Get Divorced by 30 into both a memoir and a screenplay for Universal Studios. She graduated from the honors program of Boston College summa cum laude, with a major in theater and screenwriting. Blood Sugar is her debut novel.
Kelly AuCoin is best known for playing cult favorite ‘Dollar’ Bill Stearn on Showtime’s Billions, and Pastor Tim on FX’s The Americans. He and Sascha met when she wrote a part for him in her television program, The Bold Type. Generally speaking, when someone offers Kelly a job, he tends to jump at it, before the offerer has a chance to change their mind, so, there that was. And, now, Kelly would now do pretty much anything Sascha asked him to do, because he thinks she’s awesome. And he flipping LOVES this book! In terms of acting, he can currently be seen in Hulu’s The Girl From Plainville and AppleTV+’s WeCrashed. Some other TV: The Endgame, TURN, House of Cards, The Good Wife, Gossip Girl, The Sopranos, and many Laws & Order of various suffixes. Film: The Good House, The Post, The Wizard of Lies, Julie & Julia, The Kingdom, All That I Am (SXSW Award; Ensemble Acting). He is a former member of the Oregon Shakespeare festival acting company.
