MTM and Kindred Stories Presents Wanda M. Morris - Virtual Event

Wanda M. Morris is the acclaimed author of All Her Little Secrets, which has been praised by Karin Slaughter as brilliantly nuanced and reviewed by The Boston Globe, LA Times, New York Times, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Seattle Times, and South Florida Sun Sentinel among others. Wanda is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and Crime Writers of Color. A corporate attorney, Wanda has worked in the legal departments of some of America's top Fortune 100 companies. She is an accomplished presenter and leader. As a former President of the Georgia Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, she established a signature female empowerment program known as the Women's Initiative. She is married, the mother of three and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sara DiVello is a yoga teacher by day, mystery writer by night. She’s a life-long passionate reader and mystery-lover. Sara loves chatting all things books, the joy of reading, the craft of writing, and connecting readers to their favorite authors…or introducing them to their new favorites! Kindred Stories, founded in 2021 by Terri Hamm, was born of a love for reading and a passion for community. The store is here to give kids and adults alike a space to explore the wide-open world of literary content and creative works fashioned by black and brown hands. We are a bookstore committed to amplifying Black voices and bringing diverse stories from throughout the African diaspora to our local community in Houston, TX. Located in the Third Ward neighborhood, we provide a well-curated offering to edify the swelling appetites for authentic stories as told by those who have lived them.
