Set in Lausanne, Switzerland, this debut is perfect for fans of Christie's closed setting novels. Newly transferred to Violent Crimes from Financial Crimes, Inspector Agnes Luthi doesn't feel prepared for her first homicide investigation, much less being held captive by Lausanne's worst snowstorm in history. Set on the celebrated Chateau Vallotton grounds, a young woman dressed
in a jewel encrusted gown is found stabbed to death. Since Luthi's superior officer is unable to reach the destination, the investigation falls to Luthi. With a closed cast of characters and setting, de Hahn has written an intriguing, atmospheric novel. I'm anxious to read a sequel...hope there's one coming! - Brenda
